Samantha Holland
Clinical Director/Principal therapist

I am Sam and I am the owner of Hollinton Health. The clinic was first established in 2008 and known simply known as ‘Sports Therapy 4U’. This was based at a well-known gym. I then branched out and re-opened in Baldock high street. I was there for 6 years before I expanded to the current address in Baldock Whitehorse Street. Over the years, the team has grown, and the business has become more and more diverse. It was then that I decided to open ‘Wellness Therapy 4U’ to offer different services, creating a dynamic approach to optimal wellbeing.

I am an extremely proficient practitioner, providing treatments tailored to suit the individual’s needs. My role is to not only help athletes return to full functionality but also the general public, accident victims and anyone interested in maintaining healthy equilibrium. I have a vast amount of experience with all levels of ability from amateur to professional sports people, regularly treating world champions, to office workers. Regardless of age, sport or ability, every ‘body’ is different and therefore needs to be treated differently.

BSc(Hons) MSTO
Sports Therapist/Injury rehabilitator

Hello, my name is Elay, I have over 5 years experience in Sports Therapy, four of those have been spent at ‘Sports Therapy 4U’. I am well equipped to tackle any challenge I come across. I thrive in finding the cause of discomfort rather than just treating the symptoms. This has led to many success stories which I am profoundly proud of.

I like to build a trusting relationship with my patients. I achieve this by educating you of your issues, providing detailed results of my examinations, the suggested treatment, and specific stages of recovery. I believe it is important for you to understand the cause of your issue and how my treatment is going to benefit you. Once this is achieved, I attain a positive and professional attitude ensuring you are comfortable and well educated about all stages of your recovery

I am always pushing myself to improve my knowledge and skills by attending various courses and events. I am pleased to offer all the services provided by the ‘sports therapy 4U’ team including; dry needling, shockwave therapy and laser therapy and more. By offering these added modalities, I can offer a diverse course of treatment, ensuring you receive the best results.

Over the years I have built up a healthy and diverse client base, some I have been seeing for an extremely long time on maintenance programmes. Prevention is just as important as treating which is something that I find benefits patients massively. My qualification in personal training ensures that I have vast knowledge when applying rehabilitation programs to suit a large amount of people ranging from professional athletes, to accident victims.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching football and rugby, skiing and watching movies.

I look forward to treating you and hope to see you soon!

BSc(Hons) MSTA
Sports Therapist/Injury rehabilitator

Hi, I am a fully qualified Sports Therapist with over 3 years’ experience.

I am currently back at university studying at UEA for my master’s degree in Physiotherapy. I feel that coming from a Sports Therapy background and now studying Physiotherapy allows me to offer my patients the best care.

I am passionate about what I do, and always enjoy obtaining new skills that I can out into practice. My favourite part of the job is seeing the progress people make throughout their rehab journey and being able to help people get back to what they enjoy whether its work, sports or any other hobbies. I have always enjoyed both watching and playing sport, and therefore I have such an interest in working within the sports industry, and this is what drove me to do what I do.

As well as working at the clinic, I also work at Stevenage FC within the academy medical team, which I have done since the final year student during my last degree!

I am super friendly, and I don’t stop talking, so I look forward to meeting you soon!

Sports Therapist/Injury Rehabilitator

Hi, I am Xhennani, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a very passionate practitioner and have a deep care for every patient I treat. I do not believe that people should live in pain or be left open to injury when working or performing the sports they enjoy. I feel proud to offer a service which allows people to feel freedom from pain and confidence that they can live injury free. My patient’s progression and success fuel’s my drive to further advance in the clinical aspect of my career. I still very much enjoy my ‘pitch side work’ that I do with a football team which I feel reflects my nurturing nature. Being part of a team has the togetherness that comes with it, I must say that the closeness of the Hollinton Health team makes the clinic a fantastic team to be part of too! I very much enjoy being a component of a dynamic team of therapists with the outcome of the patient our main focus.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I started training in Holistic Therapies back in 1991 and gained my qualifications in Anatomy, Physiology and Holistic Massage, shortly after I completed and obtained a Diploma in Reflexology. For the next 19 years, whilst I was bringing up my children. I also wanted to expand my knowledge and did this by undertaking numerous courses and qualifications. In 2010, my children were grown up and had their own lives, so my husband and I decided we wanted to help other families by becoming foster carers. We did this for the duration of five years and looked after many children over this time, from new-born babies to fifteen-year olds. Whilst there were many challenges and difficulties along the way, it was extremely fulfilling and rewarding, it taught me to have even more compassion and patience than I already had, and I feel these qualities have helped me in all areas of my life to become more understanding and in tune with individuals and their needs. The aim of my treatment is to not only relieve tension and pain, reduce stress and elevate mood/energy levels but also to restore balance to your body physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. With regular treatments we can establish a personalised plan to achieve the best outcome for you; as your body is adjusting and we work towards your goals, your mind body and spirit will attune to this and it is highly likely you will notice a major difference, not just within yourself, but within your career, personal life and relationships too. We can achieve this through your choice of the several different techniques that I am qualified in.

BSc (Hons)

I love reading, laughing, travelling. What charges my batteries: nature, human contact, Qigung, good film and music.

Sports Massage Therapist

Hi, my name is Kay and I am a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist. My interest in sports massage started some years ago, when I was suffering with plantar fasciitis in my left foot, and although not a sports related injury, Sam at Sports Therapy 4U was recommended to me.

After a few treatments my injury and related imbalances were completely cured. Since then I have been to Sports Therapy4U for treatment for tennis elbow, shin splints and general maintenance massages.

I became fascinated how injuries or imbalances in one part of the body could affect other areas of the body. I know how much deep tissue massage has helped me over the years and I want to help other people in the same way, spreading the word that sports massage is not just for sports people but for everyone! I have lived in Baldock for 30 years and worked in local education for 17 years and am now thrilled to be working at Sports Therapy 4U where my interest in deep tissue massage began.
